We’re looking for talented Senior User Researchers to join us at a momentous time for the company. We believe that creating innovative, user-led digital solutions can improve the lives of both users and the organisations who serve them and ensure that digital is a force for good.
Instrumental to this is the ability to generate rich insights that help teams navigate uncertainty, de-risk development, and create services that users need.
The new User Researchers will be responsible for helping organisations adopt a user-centred approach, allowing them to learn about their products and services through the world of their users.
You’ll use a combination of research methods to help clients spot unmet needs, pain points and opportunities for their organisation. You’ll have strong communication skills to ensure that your research has the maximum impact, influencing all areas of the development team and wider business.
You’ll work collaboratively with talented designers and engineers to solve problems for users, drawing on each other's skill sets to create exceptional user experiences.
£55,000-£68,000 depending on experience and skill level
Your skills and experience
We’re looking for skilled practitioners with experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, specifically someone who has:
collaborated with teams to develop exceptional products and experiences that are tailored for their intended audience
used a range of research methods to uncover insights that help shape products and services
communicated research findings and insights using a variety of techniques, including, personas, experience maps, mental models
worked collaboratively to turn insights into useful artefacts for the team
influenced teams, non-digital colleagues and organisations to take on research findings
recruited users through a range of activities
proactively contributed to team planning activities to ensure that work
supported the development of low-fidelity concepts and high-fidelity designs that help teams create meaningful solutions for users
mentored or managed more junior designers to guide their skills development and design approach
advocated for and embedded user-centred design methods in organisations less familiar with the approach
